This place has become too materialistic just because of one photo that has sold out for $6.5 mil and there is no intent to satisfy the visitors and give them a piece of history and share pride. Not only it was overcrowded, for the price of almost $100 a person you are constantly being pushed to walk faster, you can’t enjoy the experience of walking through the canyon and look at or fish amazing shapes. We had people constantly in our face, breathing in our neck, our guide Amanda wasn’t telling any stories, all we heard from her all the time was you can’t take pictures here, do you have any questions, keep going. Our 11:30am tour was sold to many groups of 10 people each group.
A friend of mine came visiting from overseas and the Antelopes were on her bucket list. I visited the upper antelope few years ago.
